A teacher in northern New Jersey was fired for reportedly urinating in his classroom. Ron Tuitt, who is partially handicapped, was accused of insubordination and relieving himself in a trash can and some bottles.

Christopher Cerf, the Education Commissioner in Trenton approved the removal of Ron Tuitt's tenure and fired him Thursday. The teacher in the Paterson, N.J. school district allegedly asked male students to empty bottles he had peed in when they went to the restroom. The teacher refuted some of the accusations and said that other offenses occurred because of illness and his confinement to a motorized wheelchair. Tuitt said the principal at School 13 was not accommodating enough to his needs.

Cerf said the accusations by Tuitt do not excuse his actions.
