A new study conducted by a Norwegian virologist claims that coronavirus is not natural in origin and has been genetically altered in the laboratory in China.

The study, led by Norwegian virologist Birger Sorensen, emphasizes that COVID-19 pandemic, which has claimed almost 400,000 lives worldwide, was created in the lab with an intention to their improved capability to bind to humans.

Sorensen said that the spike proteins on the coronavirus’s outer surface do not feel natural or naturally modified but artificially inserted.

“The inserted sequences should never have been published. Had it been today, it would never have happened. It was a big mistake the Chinese made,” Sorensen said. “The inserted sequences have a functionality that we describe. We explain why they are essential. But the Chinese pointed to them first.”

Sorenson and his team found that the coronavirus had been engineered to bind to humans. He also pointed to the fact that the coronavirus that causes COVID-19 has hardly changed or mutated naturally ever since it started to cause infection in people, suggesting that it was already fully capable or adapted to humans.

Ex-British Intel head backs Sorenson’s claims.

Richard Dearlove, Former Head of the British Secret Intelligence Service, said that the Chinese scientists may have been carrying gene-splicing experiments on coronavirus, which described the presence of spine proteins with the immense capability to bind to humans.

However, he did not accept believing in theories that this was done on purpose or with malevolent intent.

Pointing to the number of people who have been arrested or silenced by the concerned leadership while trying to raise questions about the origin of coronavirus, he said that if a mistake is made, it becomes a risky business for the people involved.

Several researchers and virologists have come forward before as well claiming that coronavirus is man-made. One such researcher is the French virologist and Nobel Laureate Luc Montagnier, who claimed that coronavirus’ genetic sequence shows elements of the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). This indicates that it may not have naturally evolved after all.

The U.S. President Donald Trump has been quite vocal about his thoughts on the origin of coronavirus and has blamed China several times in the media for the COVID-19 pandemic and the loss of life and economy that it has caused. He once claimed having seen the evidence that suggests that coronavirus was manufactured in a laboratory in Wuhan, China.
