No. 6 Ohio State faces No. 11 Dayton tomorrow in the first match up for the day in Round 2. It will definitely be a very exciting day for college basketball fans filled with Cinderella stories, upsets and key victories and losses.

The last time these two teams faced each other was in the 2008 NIT. The Flyers have lost three times since January 29, all to Atlantic !0 champion St. Joseph’s. They have definitely recovered and have won 10 of their final 12 games against teams like Gonzaga, California, UMass and St. Louis.

Ohio State started the season with 15 straight wins but went 10-9 during the rest of the season. They also lost to Michigan St. in the Big Ten tournament. The Buckeyes rank fourth in defensive efficiency and 12th in scoring defense.

March Madness is all about upsets and even No. 1 teams can be a victim of this. In the first half of the season, OSU looked like a No.1 seed. The Flyers won’t be intimidated by the Buckeyes at all. But on the other hand OSU defends the perimeter as well as any team. The Buckeyes are talented enough to make a run.
