Tonight is a brand new episode of "Once Upon a Time" on ABC and while all our heroes are back that doesn't mean they are out of danger.
From the promo trailer we are quite certain a main character will die in tonight's episode. We know Hades (Greg Germann) is in Storybrooke and is looking to cause some trouble.
With the help of Zelena (Rebecca Mader), the king of the underworld sets out to end one of our heroes and it looks as though he will succeed, since the promo trailer ends with everyone standing around in the rain presumably mourning a loss.
Furthermore, a few sneak peek clips have been revealed. The first shows Zelena meeting with Regina (Lana Parrilla) and Robin (Sean Maguire) to tell them Hades has changed. When Regina tells her Hades tricked them all, Zelena refuses to hear it.
In the second clip we see Hades telling a distraught Zelena that he has the means to defend them, if need be, revealing the powerful and destructive Olympian Crystal, which belonged to his brother Zeus.
According to Futon Critic, the synopsis for episode 21, "Last Rites," reads: "Emma (Jennifer Morrison), David (Josh Dallas), Regina, Robin and Henry (Jared S. Gilmore) are finally back home in Storybrooke and reunited with Snow, but, unfortunately, they still have to contend with Hades, who continues to deceive Zelena as he lays out his plan to use the all-powerful Olympian Crystal to take over the town. The heroes desperately search for a way to defeat Hades while Hook (Colin O'Donoghue) does the same in the Underworld, looking for those missing storybook pages. Regina and Robin take a more direct approach, which culminates in an epic showdown that will leave our heroes forever changed."
"Once Upon a Time" episode 21, "Last Rites," will air on Sunday, May 8, at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC. It will also be available the next day on abc.com, iTunes, Hulu, Amazon and more.
Viewers who can't watch on TV can view it on a computer, tablet or smartphone through ABC's live stream service. If all else fails, you can watch the all-new episode live here, here and here.
