“The Lord of the Rings” star Orlando Bloom has opened up about his future plans and why his relationship with singer Katy Perry is going strong. The couple is likely to have a closed intimate wedding next month and the fans are now waiting for their wedding date announcement.

The 42-year-old actor is very vocal about the fact that he wants to expand his family with Perry as soon as he is done with his commitments. "I really want to enjoy my time with family and friends, my beautiful son, and have more kids," revealed the Hollywood heartthrob to Man About Town.

The couple got engaged on Valentine’s Day after three years of consistent dating. The “Pirates of the Caribbean” star proposed to the “Hot n Cold” singer with a flower-shaped diamond ring, featuring a red ruby in the center. The couple then took to Instagram to spread the news of their engagement. The 35-year-old singer captioned her selfie where she flaunts her ring as “Full Bloom,” and her partner captioned the same image as “Lifetimes.”

In the interview, Orlando got candid about his changing perspectives on relationships. “I think when you’re younger, we’ve all been sold this Hollywood idea of love and relationships, marriage and kids,” he stated. “Actually, what it really takes is communication and compromise, so life looks like somebody who’s willing to communicate and find joy in the simple and small moments.”

It is worth mentioning that this will be the second wedding for both Perry and Bloom, who were formerly married to comedian Russell Band (2010-2012) and Miranda Kerr (2010-2013), respectively.

Recently, the “Harleys in Hawaii” singer celebrated her 35th birthday with her fiancée and close friends in Egypt. Their vacation images reveal how much they love and enjoy each other’s company. According to US Magazine, the lovebirds are planning to tie the knots in December, after Katy’s concerts in Chicago and LA.

Bloom is already a proud father of eight-year-old Flynn with his ex-wife, Miranda Kerr.
