Premios Tu Mundo 2014: Get Sara Corrales’ Red Carpet Smokey Eye! [TUTORIAL]

Telemundo's Premios Tu Mundo took place on Thursday night, Aug. 21, and the event brought Latin America's biggest stars to the award show. If you watched the Premios Tu Mundo 2014 Red Carpet, then you probably spotted actress Sara Corrales looking like a million bucks. Corrales' innate beauty was only enhanced by her perfectly contoured face and her perfect smokey eyes.

The look was created by celebrity makeup artist Claudia Betancur, who opted for the simple smokey eye with bold lashes to juxtapose the actress' white dress. And to balance out the strong smokey eye, Betancur opted for a nude lip. “Sara had a modern beachy bob, so I wanted to keep her makeup really clean, cool, and chic," said Betancur.

STEP 1: For the perfect canvas, apply 3 pea-size dots of the L'Oréal Paris Revitalift Miracle Blur Oil-Free ($24.99) which works as a skin primer and creates a smooth, firm base for foundation

STEP 2: Apply the L'Oréal Paris brightening concealer Visible Lift Blur Concealer ($12.99) by dotting it in a line under your eye, starting at the inner corner (the inside of the bridge of your nose) and working to the outer edge of your eye

STEP 3: Follow up with L'Oréal Paris Visible Lift Blur Foundation ($14.99) which works as a a lightweight base and apply it lightly, starting with your two cheeks, blending it outwards

STEP 4: For full brows like Sara’s, outline the shape of your brow using L’Oréal Paris Brow Stylist Sculptor in Brunette($8.99) at the bottom hairline and then brush the hairs upward by using its brush to spread the color. Towards the end tail of the brow, draw it in lightly if needed

STEP 5: Claudia says purple is the new modern take on the smoky eye. Apply the violet shadow found in L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Dual Effects Eye Shadow Quad in Unforgettable Lilac ($9.99) on the lids, then blend the darker purple shadow into the creases
