With the presidential election a mere hours away, both candidates are doing their best to garner as much support as possible so that the can be elected the new president of the United States. As gauntlets have been thrown on both sides, Democratic presidential nominee Hilary Clinton has proven that she has won the support of entertainment, sports and political heavy hitters in the race for the presidency.

According to Complex, Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James has endorsed Clinton for president as he and fellow Cavs basketball star J.R. Smith took the stage at her rally in Ohio yesterday showing their support. The move which was an amazing one being that James is from Ohio, struck home with voters since the election is literally hours away.

James, who many Ohio residents consider a hero and inspiration, had some amazing words to say about Clinton and why she has gained his support.

"The number one main reason I'm here is because of Hillary and what she believes in," LeBron stated. He discussed how her vision for the country helps people like himself, Smith and others believe that dreams can become a reality.

Following LeBron's introduction, Clinton praised the basketball player for his actions on and off the court. "I want to thank LeBron for what he does on the basketball court. You all know it makes him so special. It makes him a champion," Clinton stated. "But I am just as impressed as I have told him about what he does off the court because what he does off the court is to care for every child as though that child were his own."

News of James' support of Clinton is not a new thing. Back in October, the basketball stated why he was backing Clinton in an op-ed piece in Business Insider detailing how the presidential hopeful has a clear vision and that she knows and understands the struggle of minorities.
