The Season 5 premiere of “Pretty Little Liars” is steadily approaching, and even though fans are still reeling from the dramatic Season 4 finale, the actors including Ian Harding are already back on set! First things first, Ezra survives into Season 5, but fans should remember one thing, just because he survives “A” gun shot wound, his road to recovery won’t be smooth sailing. "He's going to be in bad shape," Ian revealed of Ezra’s state in the premiere episode of Season 5. "I haven't seen the first script back, but in the costume fitting, I was getting fitted for medical gowns, several of them." Despite the upsetting news that Ezra will be in on a long road to recovery, and an even longer road to redemption with Aria, “Pretty Little Liars” fans do have something to get excited about!
Series creator, Marlene King has finally provided fans with their first look into the new and exciting world of Season 5! King, who notably likes to tease PLL’s loyal legion of fans, shared a sneak peek photo for the set of the highly anticipated Season 5 premiere and it gives fans even better insight to what Ezra will be dealing with in the forthcoming season.
King posted an eerily light shot of Ezra’s hospital room, captioning the mystery inducing snap, “Where are we? #pllseasonfive.” The picture confirms much of what we already know about the still untitled Season 5 premiere, the episode is set to pick up right where we left off in the Season 4 finale “A is for Answers.”
According to recent spoilers, the Season 5 premiere of “Pretty Little Liars” will feature a paramedic and two surgeons, so fans should expect a dramatic hospital scene-featuring Aria waiting on bated breath. Despite all of the action in the Rosewood hospital, Ezra will make a full recovery, but the Liars will once again be in “serious danger” in the premiere episode, which makes sense considering “A” is still on the loose and Ali is back in Rosewood, which really only raises the stakes!
The season 5 synopsis reads, "In the new season of the hit drama series, the Liars must dodge their dreaded nemesis 'A,' while navigating a world with Alison back in it." So “A’s” identity is revealed but the torment continues, and in addition to the constant harassment of “A,” the girls will have to welcome their once ruthless leader back into the fold.
