Meghan Markle And Prince Harry are said to have made the decision to move to Los Angeles because the duchess reportedly feels homesick in the UK. The couple is said to be eyeing a luxurious area in Malibu as a place where they will reside.

However, leaving their Frogmore Cottage and moving to America is a bad idea that they were warned against their plan. Russell Myers, royal editor of Daily Mirror, told ITV that the plan to move has many complications, especially concerns about expenses as they would surely be criticized again if they will ask Buckingham Palace to fund their move to the US.

“There are some rumors that some of her business associates have been looking for a place in California, in the sort of millionaire playground of Malibu, wouldn’t that be nice?” Express quoted Myers as saying. “One can only hope they pay for it themselves out of their own pocket this time, rather than their taxpayer-funded home.”

Meghan’s former royal etiquette teacher, Edmund Fry, also told the publication that the Duchess of Sussex really misses her old home more because of the bad publicities and criticisms that she’s been getting as a royal. She has many friends in Hollywood, and this is another thing that’s making her feel homesick.

“It is possible to live stress-free and out of the glare of publicity here,” Fry said. “LA and California are so huge, it is easy to escape to places with your family and just blend in with everyone.”

Prince Harry and Meghan are said to be already looking for a home in the US, and they’re likely to settle in Malibu. However, Kensington Palace has yet to confirm this report.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry broke his silence over the deluge of criticisms that came after he and Meghan went on a vacation overseas via a private jet. The Duke of Sussex explained that the private flight was needed for the safety of his family, as per Daily Mail.

He also introduced a new sustainable travel initiative, called the Travalyst, as a response to the backlash. The main goal of the project is to encourage people to make more environmentally friendly choices while traveling. It was launched in partnership with leading travel advisors, including Booking.com, TripAdvisor, Skyscanner, Visa and China’s Ctrip.
