Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are rumored to still be feuding with Prince William and Kate Middleton. But according to a royal expert, it seems that the alleged tension between the royal couples is fake.

While speaking with E! News (via Express), Melanie Bromley discussed the recent claims made by royal reporter Robert Jobson. During a recent interview, Jobson said that the Duke of Sussex’s statement about wanting to only have two children must have rubbed the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge the wrong way.

Jobson also claimed that Kate may have gotten upset with Meghan’s explanation as to why she refused to grace the cover of British Vogue. The “Suits” alum said that she didn’t want to be boastful. But years ago, Kate agreed to appear on the cover of the same magazine.

This week, Bromley said that there might not be any tension between the royal couples. Rather, Prince William and Kate must have delayed their trip to Balmoral because it’s hard to schedule a family vacation and not because they are avoiding Prince Harry and Meghan.

“Despite the continued rift being cooked up by the trolls, Kate and Meghan appear to be putting on a united front,” she said. “Almost all the evidence suggests the two women are getting along so well. They’re often seen smiling in one another’s company. This year for the second time in a row, Kate and Meghan attended Wimbledon together,” she added.

The Cambridges and the Sussexes have been pitted against each other for months. And the fact that Prince William, Kate, Prince Harry and Meghan have not commented on their alleged rift just gave royal fans more opportunity to speculate on the real status of their relationship.

Last year, rumors swirled that Meghan made Kate cry during Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid dress fitting. Royal experts also claimed that Prince Harry read the riot act to Prince William and Kate after Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis went to bed.

The Duke of Sussex was reportedly upset with his older brother and sister-in-law for not accepting Meghan into the royal family. Following the incident, Kate and Prince William sent flowers to the Sussexes’ home.
