Prince Harry has changed in a year after his marriage, according to biography written by Angela Levin. According to the analysis of the biographer, the British royal feels “miserable,” “sulky” and “emasculated.”

The past year has been difficult for both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The couple made a shocking admission in the ITV documentary “Harry and Meghan: An African Journey” about how the constant media scrutiny has had a devastating effect on their personal lives.

Now, Levin has added a new chapter to her 2018 biography “Harry: Conversations with the Prince” that includes a detailed analysis of the British royal’s life one year after marriage, Express reported. According to the biographer’s analysis, Prince Harry’s behavior has really changed after his marriage.

“ On many occasions he has seemed to be a shadow of himself: miserable, tense, sulky and even emasculated,” Levin noted. As far as the reason for this change is concerned, Levin speculated that it may have something to do with the changes Markle has encouraged him to adopt, which may have made him feel “no longer quite himself.” The author, however, added that this change may only be temporary.

Prince Harry was once known as the party prince, but after marriage his wife has encouraged him to give up smoking and drinking, and change his lifestyle to include smoothies, veganism, and yoga.

While these changes may be good for Prince Harry’s health, they appear to be having an impact on his mental health. Levin cited a palace insider who claimed that both the Queen and Prince Charles are “very worried” about the Duke of Sussex.

Despite the claims in the biography, Prince Harry appeared to be in good spirits during his recent tour of Japan. A video of him meeting the South African team after they beat England in Rugby World Cup final showed him sharing a drink with the players and complimenting them for the victory.
