Royal expert Duncan Larcombe recently talked about some of the low points in Prince Harry life. There was one particular moment when the Duke of Sussex was so angry that he had “steam coming out of his ears.”

Larcombe said in an interview with Yahoo’s “The Royal Box” that Prince Harry was “absolutely furious” when he was asked to leave Afghanistan because of security concerns. He was deployed there, but when the press started to leak details about his location, it became a security issue and he had to be pulled out.

Prince Harry was so angry that he was pulled out of Afghanistan, that he went straight to Botswana to cool off. Larcombe explained that the Duke of Sussex goes to the African country every time he has “steam coming out of his ears.”

Botswana has a special place in Prince Harry’s heart. He went there as a 12-year-old boy for the first time after the death of his mother. He was able to get some “private time” there.

In a 2017 interview with Town & Country, Prince Harry said that he went to Botswana in 1997 after his father told him and his brother to pack their bags. They wanted to get away from everything for a while, and Africa was the right place for them because the royal siblings were brought up outdoors and they appreciate nature and the countryside.

“This is where I feel more like myself than anywhere else in the world,” Prince Harry said. He added that he feels an “intense sense of complete relaxation and normality” in Botswana and he wished he would get the chance to spend more time in Africa.

Prince Harry would like to spend more time in a place where he can go unrecognized. He wants to spend time with people who don’t have an agenda, and who would rather sacrifice everything to contribute to nature.
