Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been subjected to intense media scrutiny, and they have faced a lot of criticism in the past few weeks. There has even been some talk about the couple moving to America to live a relatively carefree life. According to a royal expert, nobody can stop the two of them if they take the decision to stop being royals and leave Britain.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been criticized for keeping the christening of their son Archie private and not revealing who the godparents of the baby are. They also faced criticism for spending about $3 million of public funds for renovating their home Frogmore Cottage. More recently, they have been dubbed as hypocrites for travelling in private jets while preaching about climate change to others.

Some people believe that the severe backlash and media scrutiny may push Prince Harry and Markle to renounce their royal status and move to America. According to royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams, nobody will be able to stop them in case they decide to take this step, Express reported.

Fitzwilliams pointed out that there have been other royals who have taken this step, so there is precedent for it. However, the royal expert added that Prince Harry and Markle may not do it. The two of them have been using their position to support charities and be a voice for social issues, and they are in a better position to do good to the world as royals.

However, there has been growing concern that Prince Harry and Markle will move to American one day, especially for their son. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex don’t want Archie to be subjected to the same level of media scrutiny as them, and they want to raise him as a “private citizen,” Express reported. The two of them have so far not made any statements about moving to America.
