Prince Harry and Meghan Markle delighted their fans during their ongoing tour in South Africa. They earned a special title that Prince William and Kate Middleton have not received.

This week, a series of photos of Prince Harry and Meghan was uploaded on their official Instagram account. Shortly after, royal fans said that all of the royal couple’s photos are so stunning because they’re candid.

Several royal fans also likened Prince Harry and Meghan to Princess Diana and said that all three royals are kind. At least two royal fans also said that Prince Harry and Meghan are the new People’s Prince and People’s Princess.

People’s Princess was a title that was given by the public to the Princess of Wales. And even though Kate Middleton has been part of the royal family for eight years now, she has not been bestowed such special title by royal fans.

“This is one of the most down-to-earth royal tours I have ever seen — thank you, Duke and Duchess, for truly getting involved with the awesome people who make up your country,” one fan commented. “These photographs are so special,” another fan wrote.

But despite the praises that the royals received, Meghan is once again facing a major backlash after she was photographed wearing a hijab during her royal engagement. Some royal fans accused her of disrespecting Muslims for wearing the hijab incorrectly.

“You obviously don’t care how disrespectful you are by wearing the hijab like that — you are supposed to cover your hair, arms, and chest,” one fan wrote on social media. “Get it together!”

But some royal fans still praised the Duchess of Sussex for looking beautiful during her royal engagement. Some of them called her stunning, and others described her as gorgeous.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be in South Africa until Oct. 2 for a series of royal engagements. However, Prince Harry will make solo appearances in Malawi, Angola and more. During this time, Meghan is expected to stay with their 4-month-old son, Archie, who’s also in South Africa with the royal couple.
