Prince Harry could have married a different woman if things have worked out between him and Jennifer Aniston. It was revealed that the Duke of Sussex once considered the “Friends” actress as princess material, but he did not get the chance to show his affection as he was immediately shut down by the A-list star.

According to Fox News, American writer Ian Halperin claimed that Prince Harry really liked Aniston, and this was around the time when he was still into heavy partying. He already made an effort to connect with the actress, and after successfully obtaining her number, he started to send her text messages.

Aniston is aware that the prince has a thing for her even before he sent those messages. However, she turned him down early by not responding to his texts. It turned out that she did this because she is aware of their huge age gap. Prince Harry and Aniston have a 16-year age difference, and she does not want to be involved with someone too young for her, plus he’s a prince too.

When the news was published, Aniston’s camp immediately denied the allegation and stated that Prince Harry did not have a crush on her, contrary to what’s been reported. Even if the denial already came from the actress herself, Halperin insisted that what he stated in his book about Prince Harry is true.

Prince Harry has other women who he almost married before meeting Meghan Markle. He was in a relationship with Cressida Bonas from 2012 to 2014, and they almost got engaged at one point. She is the woman who the prince dated the longest, and he thought she was the one.

“Harry has known for a while that Cressida is ‘The One’ but even the most decisive men sometimes need a boot up the backside,” an insider said.

Prince Harry did not end up with either Aniston or Bonas, and he married “Suits” actress Meghan Markle instead. They welcomed their first child, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, on May 6, and the royal baby is now the 7th in line to the British throne.
