Prince William has been accused of having an affair with Kate Middleton’s former friend, Rose Hanbury. Reports about the Duke of Cambridge’s romantic link to Hanbury surfaced after it was revealed that the latter had a falling out with the Duchess of Cambridge years ago.

According to The Sun, the royal couple has decided to cut ties with Hanbury, as well as her husband, David Rocksavage. Prince William and Middleton have been friends with Hanbury and Rocksavage for years since they live close to each other. But things changed between the couples due to an undisclosed reason.

“It is well known that Kate and Rose have had a terrible falling out,” a source said. “They used to be close but that is not the case anymore.”

The same insider added that Prince William wanted to assume the role of peacemaker to bring the two women together but has been unsuccessful. The Sun’s journalist, Nicole Cliffe, hinted on the possibility that Prince William and Hanbury might have actually had an affair years ago.

However, Daily Mail reporter Richard Kay denied the rumors and said that there is no clear-cut evidence to prove that Middleton and Hanbury had a falling out. In the same light, there is no evidence to prove that Prince William and Hanbury had an affair.

Since the rumors don’t seem to die down anytime soon, Middleton and Hanbury have both considered taking legal action. However, since they could not find concrete evidence on why they are being pitted against each other, both women have decided to ignore reports about their alleged feud.

Prince William and Middleton have been married for almost 8 years now. The couple tied the knot at Westminster Abbey on April 29, 2011. Two years later, the royal couple was blessed with their first child, Prince George. Two years passed, and they welcomed their only daughter, Princess Charlotte. Prince William and Middleton welcomed their third child, Prince Louis, on April 23, 2018.

Prior to their wedding, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been dating for years. They briefly separated years ago, but it didn’t take them long to get back together.
