Luiza Rozova, an 18-year-old student who is believed to be Russian President Vladimir Putin's "secret daughter," is being slammed and trolled on her social media following Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

Rozova is a student in Putin's hometown of St Petersburg. She has been singled out online by angry messages and jokes. Rozova is the daughter of 45-year-old cleaner-turned-multimillionaire Svetlana Krivonogikh, now part-owner of a major Russian bank. Krivonogikh reportedly owns a £3.1 million ($4.1 million) Monaco mansion, though no confirmation has been made regarding claims that Putin fathered her daughter. Putin has also never publicly acknowledged Rozova as his daughter.

Several messages pointed to her alleged father's actions and how Russian troops in Ukraine were rumored not to know where they were or what they were doing. Some talked about the collapse of the Russian economy under Putin, and slammed her for her expensive branded lifestyle.

Rozova faced criticism for previously posting photos of her luxurious life at cafes, on trips to Paris, running her own fashion label or working as a DJ while Ukraine continued to suffer under the fearful war and invasion from Putin's administration.

Rozova has more than 88,000 followers, but she stopped posting content five months ago. Still, her account remains visible, giving the public a gateway and advantage to slam and criticize her more. One user posted on her Instagram saying that she is the "daughter of a murderer, war criminal, psychopath and drug addict."

Many people who left comments included the Ukrainian blue-and-yellow flag as they carried the message, "The Russian nation must rise against this dictator. You don't want to have anything to do with him." Meanwhile, some commenters also defended her, with one saying, "Don't judge her...is not her fault." Another wrote, "She cannot do anything for having a crazy father."

Putin has two daughters, Maria Vorontsova, a 36-year-old geneticist, and Katerina Tikhonova, 35, a dancer-turned-mathematician, mothered by his ex-wife Lyudmila, the former Kremlin first lady. Both daughters did not comment on the war. According to reports, Putin had ordered his family to hide in a luxury hi-tech bunker in Siberia while his military is executing the war against Ukraine.
