An expert revealed that Meghan might be the key to fulfilling the Queen’s last wish for the royal family someday. ITV News former royal editor Tim Edward claimed that in the future, when the Queen passes away, the reality is that the monarchy just might cease to be popular.

This is because a large part of the monarchy’s current popularity is shaped only by the love that the people have for the Queen. Whether or not his son can garner the same confidence and support from the people is still a question. “Open question, we don’t know, but there are suggestions that he’s not as popular as she is,” said the expert.

Given these circumstances, the expert claimed that Queen Elizabeth will be happy if Harry and Meghan appeal greatly to the younger generation. She knows that this is not impossible, given the current appeal of the royal couple.
