Perhaps all will never be well between Meghan Markle and the British Royal Family. It has been alleged that the Duchess’s absence from Prince Philip’s funeral service in April came as a “relief” to senior members of the Royal Family.

A new part of “Finding Freedom,” a biography on Prince Harry and Meghan is releasing Tuesday. According to the Mirror, many royal members feared that the Duchess’s entry would spark drama in the likelihood of “a circus”.

The following information, which was leaked to Independent, points to a senior royal member accusing Meghan of ‘creating a spectacle’.

While Harry was in attendance at his grandfather Prince Philip's funeral, Meghan stayed back as she was heavily pregnant with the couple’s second child. Her health condition however came as a sigh of relief to many royal members who clearly didn’t want to see eye to eye with the former working royal.

The longest-serving consort’s death came precisely a month after Harry and Meghan sat down for an unbridled chat with iconic show host and neighbor Oprah Winfrey.

The funeral service was anything but smooth for Harry, who is believed to have received a frosty reception from many of his family members. The book highlights how there was an implicit insult directed at the Duke after a wreath laid on his behalf at the Cenotaph for Remembrance Sunday last year was left in a box at the Kent offices of the Royal British Legion that organizes the Poppy Appeal.

“Finding Freedom” is scheduled for a release on Tuesday, which coincides with Late Princess Diana’s death. The explosive book penned by Carolyn Durand and Omid Scobie, a trusted royal source and media partner of the Duke and the Duchess, reportedly entails a detailed chapter on the bombshell Winfrey interview that was aired on March 7, after the Sussexes stepped down as senior working royals in 2020.

The former “Suits” star opened up about feeling suicidal due to ruthless media scrutiny in Winfrey’s chat. Meghan claimed that the Royal Family had questions about Archie’s skin tone. The forthcoming read further reveals how Harry and Meghan also expected the Buckingham Palace to respond to the entire episode just the way they did.
