Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele responded on Monday to remarks made by Hunter Biden in a recent interview, in which the former U.S. president's son said he would threaten military action against El Salvador over deportation policies.

Bukele shared a video clip of the interview on social media with a caption that read: "Is Hunter Biden sniffing powdered milk?"

The post came after Biden said in an interview with YouTuber Andrew Callaghan that he would have taken an aggressive stance if he were in office, reacting to President Trump's decision to deport violent undocumented immigrants to El Salvador. "I would pick up the phone and call the president in El Salvador and say, you either f—ing send them back or I'm going to f—ing invade," Biden said.

In another passage of the interview, Biden also criticized the deportation policy as a "f—ing crime" and expressed frustration with both Republicans and Democrats over the immigration debate. "People are really upset about illegal immigration? F— you. How do you think your hotel room gets cleaned? How do you think you have food on your f—ing table?" he said. "Who do you think washes your dishes?"

In another part of the interview, Biden also directed anger toward Democratic strategists, accusing them of pandering to white voters:

"White men in America are 45 more times likely to commit a f—ing violent crime than an immigrant. And the media says, you got David Axelrod and Rahm f—ing Emanuel — so f—ing smart Rahm Emanuel ... that we got to understand that these people are really mad and we got to appeal to these white voters."

The interview touched on a range of topics beyond immigration. Biden denied having any connection to a bag of cocaine found in the White House in 2023, saying, "I have been clean and sober since June of 2019. Why would I bring cocaine into the White House and stick it into a cubby outside of the Situation Room in the West Wing?"

He also defended his father's performance in the 2024 presidential debate, attributing his struggles to exhaustion and medication. "He's 81 years old, he's tired as shit. They give him Ambien to be able to sleep," Hunter said. "He gets up on the stage and looks like he's a deer in the headlights."

The interview was released on the anniversary of Joe Biden's decision not to seek reelection.
