
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 release date is reported to take place on September 4, coinciding with a special Samsung Unpacked event in Berlin.
The IFA 2013 event doesn't officially kick off until September 6, 2013 but Samsung will be holding media days on the fourth and the fifth. During these preview media days reports claim that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 phablet will be launched. According to iDigitalTimes, both the Samsung Galaxy Note and Galaxy Note 2 were both launched during IFA shows.
A source revealed to AndroidGeeks that Samsung will release event details for the Samsung Unpacked gathering later in August. The Unpacked event is a press-only event as part of the IFA 2013 expo. During this event, the source says that the Galaxy Note 3 phablet will make its debut.
With this exciting release date confirmed lets break down exactly what we know about the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Rumors speculate that the phablet will include impressive specs, such as a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC with quad-core 2.3GHz Krait 400 CPU and Adreno 320 GPU. In regards to features, the next-gen phablet is likely to come with a full HD display. However, in regards to actual screen-size, reports are still unable to come to a conclusion. The Galaxy Note 3 screen size speculations are varied with sources predicting a 5.7-inch, 5.9-inch or even over 6-inches.
Despite the Galaxy Note 3 more likely to feature that Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, some are claiming that the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean release date in July could give the phablet the latest Android iteration, AndroidGeeks reports.
As for the cost of the phablet, it is going to be expensive. TechRadar predicts the Galaxy Note 3 price will be roughly $800, wow that's pricey!
