In her memoir, a former White House press secretary has revealed that she was told by the U.S. President Donald Trump to go to North Korea and take one “for the team” after the North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un winked at her.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders is coming up with her memoir, a copy of which was retrieved by a leading media house. In the memoir, Sanders has described the incident which took place when during a summit in 2018.

She was in Singapore with Trump and Kim, along with some of their aides for the summit. She explained how Trump offered “Tic Tac” to Kim, which he reluctantly accepted. Following this, Trump" dramatically blew into the air to reassure Kim it was just a mint” and not something poisonous.

She further explained how Trump and Kim went on to discuss sports, including women’s soccer. While they were discussing it, Sanders notices that Kim was staring at her at that moment.

"We made direct eye contact and Kim nodded and appeared to wink at me," she said. "I was stunned. I quickly looked down and continued taking notes."

She further explained how she thought about it instantly and asked herself if it happened.

Sanders said that she told about the incident to Trump and his then Chief of Staff, John Kelly while traveling with them in the presidential limousine and what happened afterward was even more shocking.

"Kim Jong Un hit on you!" Trump said, according to her memoir."He did! He f---ing hit on you!"

Sanders told Trump to stop. However, he continued to drag it.

"Well, Sarah, that settles it. You're going to North Korea and taking one for the team!" Trump further said , as per Sanders. "Your husband and kids will miss you, but you'll be a hero to your country!"

Kelly backed up Trump’s response and both of them “howled in the car” as they continued to drive toward their destination.

The book is slated to be released on Tuesday, Sept. 8.
