Hitmaker Selena Gomez was in the news for a very long time for her on-and-off love affair with Justin Bieber. The two were in an intense relationship for quite some time until Bieber tied the knot to Hailey Baldwin shortly after his breakup with Gomez. And after coping with depression, the "Wolves" singer is finally back, all hale and hearty.

Now rumors are rife that Gomez is seeing Niall Horan for quite some time now. Recently, when Horan's new music album was launched, Gomez was quick to share it on social media as soon as it was out. Like a doting girlfriend, Gomez asked her fans to download her alleged boyfriend's new track.

"This came out like 5 min ago ... I'm pretty sure you need to download," she wrote. This has only added fuel to fire!

What sparked the relationship rumors is the fact that Gomez and Horan were photographed together during an intimate dinner with friends. Their pictures stirred up speculations since the ex-One Direction member had his arms wrapped around her.

However, despite all the reports, sources close to the two of them have denied their relationship. "Selena and Niall are not dating and have been hanging out as friends," an insider shared with E! News. "They have always been good friends and have kept in touch throughout the years."

To recall, Gomez and Horan were linked together back in 2015, when they were spotted indulging in some PDA at Jenna Dewan's 35th birthday party. "Selena and Niall came together and were seen kissing," said an eyewitness at the time.

"They were seen making out by a handful of people. Selena seemed super into it. And Niall even more so," the eyewitness added.

This time around, though, nothing of that sort is happening between the two. Gomez is currently focusing on her music and is in a very happy phase in her life, clarifies a source. She has a good group of friends whom she hangs out regularly with, indulging in activities like having early dinner or hanging out at home.

"Selena really enjoys staying out of the spotlight and focusing on what matters most," explained a source. "She has a more positive attitude towards life and doesn't sweat the small stuff like she would have in the past.

Recently, the "It Ain't Me" singer was in the news for penning down an impactful essay on the immigration crisis in America and how it affected her and the people around her.
