Just last week we were all in awe after we saw Selena Gomez shed her child star image in a mature spread for the December issue of Flaunt Magazine, where the 21-year-old singer stripped down and posed with 28-year-old actor Shiloh Fernandez in sexy lingerie in a film-noir inspired photo shoot. Selena sizzled in a black bob wig, smokey eyes, enhanced eyebrows and nude lips. Following last week's photo shoot, a behind-the-scenes video was released. In the three-minute clip, Selena lies in bed frolicking and being playful with shirtless Shiloh.
The short film, titled "Searching," was shot and directed by Victoria Mahoney and executive produced by Amanda de Cadenet, who photographed Selena for the upcoming Flaunt issue. It follows the "Come and Get It" singer as she strolls through the streets of Los Angeles wearing a variety of different high-fashion looks while a simple score plays in the background. "I think it's sensual not sexual, and it's how I see women," Amanda told omg! Yahoo about the tone of their shoot. "I couldn't sexualize a women if you paid me, it's not my eye. It was a real collaboration with Selena."
"I don't get the opportunity to work as a photographer that much these days, but photographing her for this issue was something I really wanted to do," de Cadenet said at Thursday's Flaunt magazine party. "She really is a classy role model ... and has a lot of integrity, and I love women with integrity, it's my thing." As for Selena, the singer added, "These shoots are fun. At the end of the day, I'm 21, so of course I'm very proud to be a woman and I'm proud of my body. It's just about doing it the right way." Selena went on to remark "I'm having fun.
