There is a new trailer for “The Sims 4,” a glimpse of things to come this summer. But for alert fans who were able to watch it, they noticed something different and possibly the return of a familiar life state making a return.

In the trailer shown on Twitter titled “This Season It’s Lights Out,” a Sim could be seen scrolling through the channels on a TV late at night.

At some point in the video, there was one where an unknown world with an island by some water and the full moon above could be seen. There was also some howling that was heard – a reason why the possibility of seeing the werewolf life state could be returning on “The Sims 4.”

For now, it would be best to take this with a grain of salt. Fans have called on game developer Maxis to add the werewolf state for some time now.

For those who have been playing the life-simulation game in the past, “The Sims” added an alternate life state that was part of some expansion packs.

Since 2014, “The Sims” has released several life states, focusing on releasing game packs than expansions.

The move did not sit well with “The Sims” fans, and part of that led to the request. Now with the new trailer, gamers are hoping to see it [the werewolf life-state] along with other features for “The Sims” players to get their money’s worth when purchasing the add-ons.

The last release was “My Wedding Stories.” However, it was far from perfect and such has raised questions on whether game developers could come out with better and new content.

Looking ahead, it remains to be seen if Maxis developers can address the bugs and offer new content. “The Sims 4” is reportedly releasing a new game pack that has yet to be named. There are also two kits allegedly coming out in either May or June.
