Suits Season 9: Watch Mike and Harvey's Much-awaited Reunion!

"Suits" fans rejoice! Mike and Harvey’s long-awaited reunion is around the corner. The duo's brotherly banter can be enjoyed once more in the upcoming episode of the series' final season.

In a sneak peek of the newest episode of "Suits" Season 9, set to air on August 14, fans can see how legal genius Mike catch Harvey’s fake renter scheme. Even though these fan-favorite characters are said to keep things light and breezy in this reunion scene, subsequent scenes can also become quite dramatic because the two lawyers will find themselves facing each other at the courtroom, on the opposite sides.

In the clip, viewers can see the two trade barbs in Harvey's apartment, where Mike intends to stay before the younger lawyer admits that he is aware that Harvey has been keeping his old apartment for him.

Showrunner Aaron Korsh has a lot to say about this reunion episode. It can be remembered that Harvey provided Samantha (Katherine Heigl) one of his favorite clients right from episode one of this season. This scene is related to the reunion scene in the upcoming episode.

“Mike comes back and sort of picks a fight with Harvey and is coming after him to sue that longtime client,” Korsh revealed to TVLine. Korsh added that Mike “wants to do it in a fun way. He doesn’t want to get embroiled into a big fight with Harvey, but he wants to go toe-to-toe with his old mentor. So he sort of slaps that client with a lawsuit, and he delivers it to Harvey.” The twist is that he does not know that Samantha is now representing the client.

Korsh added that because this is Harvey, he will not tell Samantha. "He wants to take on Mike, but Samantha finds out about it, so it ends up becoming a little bit of an embroiling with Samantha and Harvey against Mike,” Korsh explained.

The excitement for this reunion does not only stem from how adorable Mike and Harvey banter with each other. it can also be because its Patrick Adams’ promised return appearance. Th actor left the show at the end of Season 7 but promised his fans that he’d be making a return appearance before the finale of the series.

In an interview with The Journal Times, Adams did not say how many episodes he is going to do because he personally does not know. What is clear to him is how happy he is to be back.

“I couldn’t be happier now that I get to go and be a small piece of the last chapter of a show that completely changed my life. That is such a gift, so I’m happy that I wasn’t gone forever,” he said.
