Everyone knows there are two main reasons people watch the Super Bowl. The first is the game of course and the second is the awesome commercials that play in-between. Each year the Super Bowl ads get more ridiculous and fantastic and this year is bound to top the previous years. As Super Bowl XLVIII approaches more and more companies are releasing teaser commercials for the highly anticipated game. We have compiled a list of our top 11 favorite Super Bowl 2014 teaser ads revealed online.
1. SodaStream -- Sorry, Coke and Pepsi. (Uncensored): Every year we see those ads that find a way to get banned for banning sake. This year it comes from SodaStream with an ad featuring Scarlett Johansson who takes a jab at Pepsi and Coke.
2. Dannon Oikos Super Bowl 2014 Teaser: While John Stamos is the face of Dannon Oikos yogurt the company thought it would be an amazing opportunity to create a miniature “Full House” reunion. Watch David Alan Coulier and Bob Saget join Stamos in the Dannon Oikos Super Bowl teaser.
3. "The Truth" | Official Kia K900 Morpheus Big Game Commercial 2014: Kia has seriously impressed with their “The Truth” “Matrix” themed Kia K900 Super Bowl commercial. Check out the ad featuring Lawrence Fishburne as Morpheus.
4. 2014 Volkswagen Game Day Commercial: Wings: Perhaps Volkswagen is taking a more simple approach this year with their ad for the Super Bowl titled “Wings.” As the ad is a more than decent commercial we just don’t know if it’s at Super Bowl caliber. Maybe the company will surprise us with something more during the actual game day.
5. M&M'S Super Bowl Teaser 2014: Every year during the Super Bowl the M&M’s ads are always a reliable favorite for comedy and this year was no different. The teaser definitely leaves us wanting more and wanting to know ‘what happened to Yellow’?
6. David Beckham -- H&M 2014 Advert preview: H&M has taken a different approach and is asking people to choose what ad they should show during the Super Bowl. Of course the company uses a hot asset, David Beckham, and promises to display him #covered or #uncovered.
7. Bud Light "Don" Super Bowl XLVIII Teaser: Bud Light has definitely left a lot to the imagination. The teaser is short and simple but confusing. It features Don Cheadle with a llama waiting for an elevator in a hotel hallway … Yeah we’re still confused but looking forward to what will happen on Super Bowl Sunday.
8. Wonderful Pistachios Presents Stephen Colbert's Big Game Teaser: Stephen Colbert is the face for Wonderful Pistachios for the Super Bowl ad but we are again confused by the teaser. The most we can make of it is that it will be patriotic.
9. Audi 2014 Big Game Commercial -- Doberhuahua & A Special Message from Sarah McLachlan: Audi’s animated Doberhuahua is quite funny. The ad essentially breeds a new dog to feature key elements in their new Audi A3. Check out the Doberhuahua below. The company also released a second ad featuring Sarah McLachlan mimicking her SPCA end animal cruelty commercials.
10. Coca-Cola -- Going All The Way -- Official :60 & Coca-Cola -- Going All The Way -- Behind the Scenes: Although the Green Bay Packers won’t be playing in the Super Bowl there hometown and team will see 60-seconds of airtime. Coca-Cola has produced a very sweet and touching Super Bowl ad about an aspiring athlete. The company also released a behind the scenes video, check them both out below.
11. 2015 Hyundai Genesis | Big Game Ad | "Dad's Sixth Sense": While Hyundai has officially released two ads for the Super Bowl “Dad’s Sixth Sense” is clearly the winner of the two. The ad is touching yet funny and shows the audience some of the unique features for the new 2015 Hyundai Genesis.
