A young man got a sound beating from two unidentified individuals for raising his voice at his boss’ wife. It appears there was a bit of an understanding when the employee tried to explain that he shouted at the woman only because he thought she had trouble hearing. The unidentified man also denied using vulgar language while he was being mauled by one of his abusers.

Footage of the beating that the young man took spread over social media with the assailants throwing punches and verbally threatening him. The man was backed to a wall and crying with one of the men asking him if he respected the boss. Before he was able to answer and get up, another man comes in to slap him until his lips started bleeding.

In another post, the young man was seen wearing a helmet while holding a cigarette and a bottle of beer. In the video, the victim was ordered to drink it despite pleading he could no longer do so.

According to a netizen, the incident occurred at a shophouse in Taman Seri Duyong in Ayer Molek, Melaka. The victim was reportedly employed by a mobile phone company that run online gambling activities. He was allegedly paid RM 2,500 ($603) a month.

It appears the company had an unusual way of treating employees who left the company. People who decide to leave the company are subject to physical abuse and are ordered by the company to pay them back RM 7,500 ($1,808) in severance pay.

People who watched the video expressed concern on how the company was treating their employees. Some also called on others to report the matter to local authorities for appropriate action.
