'The Voice' Season 6 Battle Rounds Part 1 Recap: Who Went Home? Who Was Stolen? [SPOILERS]

Last night on “The Voice” the battle rounds began. These are always intense, based on the fact that the competition is intense and the pressure is definitely on. This is how the battle round works. Teammates have to battle it out and the coach picks who he/she thinks won the battle. After the coach chooses, there is an opportunity for the three other coaches to “steal” and when more than one coach wants to steal they have to lure and convince the contestants just like in the blind auditions and let me tell you, it can get ugly!

So here is a recap of what happened in the battle rounds. For Team Usher, he paired up Biff Gore and T.J Wilkins or “the old school vs the new school.” They sang “Ain’t Too Proud To Beg.” Usher said TJ won the battle, but Blake pushed his button for the steal so this means that now Biff Gore is on Team Blake. His second battle of the night was Jake Barker vs Stevie Jo and they sang “Higher Love.” Usher chose Stevie Jo as the winner of that battle but Adam stole Jake, and now he is a proud member of Team Adam. As for Team Adam, he paired up Kat Perkins vs Patrick Thomson. They sang “Whenever I Call You Friend.” Adam said Kat Perkins won the battle and Patrick Thomson was stolen and rescued by Shakira. As for Blake, for his first battle of the night he paired up Jake Worthington vs Lexi Luca and they sand “It Goes Like This.” Blake said Jake won the battle, Lexi Luca went home. For his second battle of the night he paired up Paula Deanda vs Sisaundra Lewis and they sang “Do What You Want.” Blake chose Sisaundra therefore sending Paula home. Last but not least for team Shakira, she paired up Dani Moz vs Deshawn Washington. They sang “My Kind Of Love” and Shakira decided to keep Dani.
