Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have been dating for four years. And it seems that their relationship is for keeps despite their glaring differences.

In the recent episode of “The Voice,” Gwen told two of the singers in her team that a lot of people don’t think that she and Shelton are a match. But they have proven to them that they’re a perfect fit for each other.

Gwen talked about her boyfriend after she told Royce Lovett and Kiara Brown that they’re two very different singers, but their common ground is their intimate tones. The No Doubt singer described Kiara as a “super clean” singer, while Royce is “dirty nasty.” Gwen also told them that they’re like her and Blake.

This isn’t the first time that the “Hollaback Girl” singer talked about her biggest differences with Blake. During her interview with Travel Girl, Gwen said that she’s not a competitive person, while Blake is very competitive.

“In fact, competition makes me really uncomfortable,” she said. “It was probably one of the reasons I almost didn’t do the show, because I couldn’t picture myself pitching myself and trying to fight, especially against a very competitive person like Adam Levine,” she added.

Gwen and Blake’s songs are also very different, and they didn’t know much about each other’s music before they started dating. It was only after Blake went to one of Gwen’s shows that he realized that some of the songs he previously heard on the radio were sung by his girlfriend.

And during this week’s episode of “The Voice,” Gwen revealed that she has also learned so much about country music since she dated Blake. “I know Blake so well and learned so much about country music in the last few years,” she said.

Gwen and Blake first crossed paths in 2014 after they were both tapped as judges and coaches on “The Voice.” Less than a year later, Gwen divorced from Gavin Rossdale and Blake divorced from Miranda Lambert.

Months later, Blake’s rep confirmed the couple’s relationship. “Gwen and Blake are longtime friends who have very recently started dating,” the rep said.
