Nikki Bella and John Cena have not been together for months, but it’s evident that they still care about each other. The former couple is now dating their respective partners.

Konstantinos Lianos, a journalist for Express, claimed that the “Total Bellas” star has informed friends that she would be heartbroken and crushed if she finds out that Cena wants to start a family with Shay Shariatzadeh. The source said that having a baby is the main reason why Bella and Cena decided to split.

“She always wanted to have a baby with John and the thought of that happening with a new woman is really hard to digest, but of course it’s crossed her mind,” the source said. “She tried everything to make their relationship work and sacrificed as much as she could, but at the end of the day, that was one thing she decided she just couldn’t go forward with,” the source added.

The source also said that Bella is so maternal that’s why she would be a great mom. However, the reality star doesn’t want to put so much pressure on herself to have a baby at the moment.

Bella and Cena dated for years, and they also got engaged at one point. Following their engagement, the couple split briefly, but they got back together weeks later. But earlier this year, it was announced that they have really decided to go their separate ways.

The “Dancing With the Stars” alum is currently dating her pro partner from the hit ABC reality TV competition. Artem Chigvintsev was paired with Bella, but they didn’t manage to bring home the mirror ball trophy years ago.

In March, Bella also said that it would kill her to see Cena with a new woman. But when she saw their photo in a newspaper, Bella said that she didn’t feel hurt. In fact, she felt happy for her ex-fiancé because he seems happy and in love with his new girlfriend.

Cena and Shariatzadeh were last seen in public last week outside the Los Angeles airport. Cena kissed his girlfriend on the cheek before sending her off.
