Princess Eugenie’s engagement ring is said to be rarer than Kate Middleton’s. New details about the two royals’ priced jewelry emerged this week.

Even though Kate will soon become a queen or queen consort, her engagement ring didn’t feature the rarest type of sapphire stone. It is Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s youngest daughter who had the unique stone included in her engagement ring.

According to Jewels for Me, Jack Brooksbank gifted his wife with a stunning ring that features a padparadscha sapphire. This type of stone boasts of a combination of red and yellow, which makes it look pink.

Eagle-eyed royal watchers previously said that Princess Eugenie's engagement ring is similar to Sarah Ferguson's engagement ring. However, Fergie's ring is in red color.

Kate’s engagement ring also features a blue sapphire stone, but this kind is not the rarest type of sapphire in the world today. The Padparadscha is believed to have originated from Sri Lanka.

“Padparadscha is a gentle stone with enormous energy that is said to have many positive attributes,” the website explained. “It is a stone that represents joy, vital energy, and foresight. It can help the wearer make enormous changes, helping him come close to achieving his life goals," the website added.

Padparadscha also helps the wearer to have a clearer perspective on things, which in turn can make her calmer. Having a calm personality makes it possible for the wearer to figure out the causes of her problems, which in turn could help foster necessary changes.

But even though Princess Eugenie’s engagement ring features the rarest form of sapphire, the piece of jewelry is still not as expensive as Kate’s engagement ring. The Duke of Cambridge passed on Princess Diana’s engagement ring to his wife when he asked for Kate’s hand in marriage in 2010. This means that the mom of three’s engagement ring is actually priceless.

Kate and Prince William tied the knot on April 29, 2011, at Westminster Abbey. Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank, on the other hand, wed at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle on Oct. 12, 2018.
