A few weeks ago, a Mexican tabloid published a set of pictures in which two people, allegedly Ximena Navarrete and William Levy are seen cuddling, making out and lounging on a couch together. The magazine claims the former Miss Universe visited Florida back in May, and the Cuban hunk went to visit her almost every day of her stay in the Sunshine State. Ever since starring together in the telenovela “La Tempestad,” there has been a lot of speculation over William and Ximena’s off-screen relationship.
It’s been said that the on-screen lovers took their relationship to the real life and they have been hiding it, although William, Ximena and even Elizabeth Gutiérrez, Levy’s partner, have denied it in the past. However, tabloids insist that the former costars are an item, and William Levy even left Gutiérrez, the mother of his children, only to be with Navarrete. Reporters at Belinda’s opening of her new karaoke bar, “La Chismosa,” approached Ximena and asked the former beauty queen about the images that caused quite a controversy.
“This is something that I can not talk about at the moment. What I can say is I am not the cause of any divorce between Elizabeth Gutiérrez and William Levy. This allegation is completely false. This is a delicate situation, and I don’t want to talk about it,” Navarrete said. “I am not going to talk about the rumors, I am here for Belinda’s special night,” she added.
She continued saying that despite all the rumors surrounding her, Ximena is at ease because her followers know how she is and she doesn’t think this scandal is going to affect her image among them. "They know I always do things with my heart, I always try to do things with my heart, with love and for love. I do not mind being questioned on this issue. I do things from the heart, never with malicious intentions," the actress said.
