Set to release the highly-anticipated ‘2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil in just over 2 weeks, EA Sports introduced an intricate video detailing the latest features its newest product will hold. While ‘FIFA 14’ was received with open arms upon its launch back in September due to the fact that the real-life motions of every player in the game including popular stars Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Javier Hernandez and others were truly encapsulated, the World Cup version presents the game on a strictly international level, with numerous global teams and athletes available for use along with truly unique game modes, styles EA outlined recently when the official trailer was launched.

“Experience all the Fun, Excitement, and Drama of Football’s Greatest Event,” the gaming superpower posted upon the release of the loaded trailer. “Multiple improvements and innovations to the award-winning gameplay of FIFA 14, plus 100 new animations, make EA SPORTS™ 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™ the most accessible, fun, and exciting EA SPORTS FIFA title on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Bring to life the world’s greatest tournament by choosing from 203 National Teams in the deepest set of modes ever in a tournament title from EA SPORTS. Immerse yourself in the FIFA World Cup™ as you play in authentic Brazilian stadiums, and recognize the support of newly rendered crowds created to replicate the passion and pageantry of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™.”

New features including World Class Control, brand new penalty kicks, over-the-back headers and set piece tactics among others are all highlighted in the developer video while game modes such as Road to the World Cup – where fans can play as any one of the 203 national teams in an attempt to advance through WC qualifying and into the summer tournament – only add to the enormity of the last FIFA game. Officially available for purchase on April 15, ‘2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil’ offers the options of playing as hundreds of international squads while featuring nearly 7,500 players and 21 brand new stadiums.
