The fight between Adele and Beyoncé on who’s the queen of 2016, doesn’t seem to stop. Now, Adele returns invincible and will end 2016 as the artist with most sold records worldwide thanks to her "25" album.

The British Diva wins with almost two million copies over "Lemonade" by Beyoncé, according to the United World Charts website.

After investigations from official lists of the most important markets data, “25” has 4.6 million pieces, giving it gold for the second year following her victory in 2011 when the “Hello” singer hit the charts with "21,” which is still is at number 25 in the best sellers list.

Even though "Lemonade" never reached the streaming reproduction, the album surpassed expectations and has been mentioned on all the chart lists all over the world as one of the best selling albums of 2016 with 2.6 million copies.

Other top-selling albums mentioned on this year's list were “Views” by Drake, “Purpose” by Justin Bieber and “Anti” by Rihanna.

Without a doubt this was an amazing year for both Beyoncé and Adele, and even though we haven’t gotten tired of their albums, we are expecting these beautiful ladies to rock next year as they did with 2016.
