For the past two years, the Alfa Romeo 4C was claimed to be "just around the corner." Now, reports finally confirm that the exhilarating Italian sports car is set to arrive in the U.S. by June. What's more, Italian car site 0-100.it has just revealed that a major Alfa Romeo 4C variant is expected to unveil at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show as well.
The Alfa Romeo 4C Roadster should be a no-brainer. The little 4C exudes Italian style. No doubt, the sense of occasion only gets amplified when the top gets dropped. According to reports, power and performance will is expected to be unchanged from the standard 4-cylinder, 1.7-liter turbo engine producing 240 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque.
Alfa Romeo has not released official pictures of its 4C Roadster just yet but encouraging reports assure the new sports car will look stunning. According to 0-100.it, the Alfa Romeo 4C Roadster concept will feature a simple manually removeable top as a folding roof may be too heavy and too complicated for the compact packaging of the Alfa Romeo 4C. The rollover bar is expected to be made from carbon fiber.
Finally, the new Alfa Romeo 4C Roadster concept will feature a new set of wheels that sport a different design, as well as a redesigned headlight cluster that does away with the bug-eye projectors found on the standard coupe. Stay tuned as we learn more about the Alfa Romeo 4C Roadster Concept in the days ahead of the Geneva Motor Show.
