South Korea meets Algeria on Sunday in Rio on what will prove to be a key matchup in Group H. As seen in many of the recent matches, these new sets up games after all team have gotten the opener out of the way, seem to have some bite to them. This match between South Korea and Algeria should turn out to be a run and gun match up and look for both team to leave it on the field as they know there is no tomorrow as we get closer to the completion of the Group play.
South Korea will use its excellent conditioning to play to its favor. Placing lots of pressure on the Algerians throughout the match will be the game plan as they did against Russia. The Algerians on the other hand can counter that pressure by moving the ball around and play a keep away to tire the South Koreans out and knock them off their game.
It’s been interesting to see how the African continent countries have responded in their second match’s as both Nigeria and Ghana both responded well and look very sharp to say the least. Can Algeria do the same?
I expect a Algerian side to play well and give the South Korean’s and run for their money and thus at the end of the match, I predict a tie 2-2.
