What's more red, white, and awesome than a July 4th race weekend? The American Le Mans Series returns to the beautiful Lime Rock Park on Saturday.

The red blooded Chevrolet Corvette C6R and SRT Viper GTS-R will face-off against Europeans BMW, Porsche, and Ferrari. The fourth race of the 10-race ALMS series, BMW's Dirk Muller is currently the points leader of the series, merely 3 points ahead of Team Corvette's Tommy Milner and Oliver Gavin.

Opened in 1957, American Le Mans Series host Lime Rock Park of Lakeville, Connecticut, is more than an incredibly scenic 1.5 mile race track featuring six technical corners and flowing elevation changes. Across a span of 55 years, Lime Rock has hosted everything from Camel GTP, F5000, Atlantic, Trans-Am and the legendary Can-Am series.

In fact, the historical importance of Lime Rock Park is so great that BMW introduced a limited edition BMW M3 Coupe Lime Rock Park Edition to honor the automaker. Featuring a performance exhaust system, a carbon fiber kit, and 19-inch ZCP Competition Package wheels, 200 examples of BMW M3 Coupe Lime Rock Park Edition vehicles were made in any color you want as long as it is Fire Orange.

What's more, the Dyson Racing Team will officially commemorate their 30th anniversary this weekend at Lime Rock Park. However, the Dyson Racing Team Porsche 962-101 as well as a number of other racing cars will occupy New York City first as the Seize sur Vingt boutique of SoHo's 78 Greene St. displays the fastest cars in the world in one of downtown's chicest streets.

Check out the awesome highlights!
