
An Amber Alert in New York has been issued as police continue to search for 7-month-old Mario Danner.

According to the New York Daily News, Marina Lopez, a 25-year-old woman from Queens, New York took her baby from a supervised visit at a foster-care agency earlier this week. The agency is located on Seventh Avenue near West 125th Street in Harlem, New York.
Lopez, who is bi-polar, lost custody of her son three months ago after she was seen fighting in front of the child. With a past history of violence in the home, police are working tirelessly to locate the young child and separate him from his unstable mother.

The Amber Alert was activated by the New York City Police Department at 10:36pm on Tuesday, July 16th. Providing intricate details to those around the New York area, the Amber Alert System released a statement explaining that Lopez was last seen on foot possibly heading for the Shorefront Parkway in Rockaway, New York.
The New York City Police Department has activated the New York State AMBER Alert and is investigating a confirmed child abduction that occurred on 2090 7th Ave. , in Manhattan NY at about 3:05 PM on 7/16/2013.
The CHILD, Mario Danner is a Hispanic male, approximately 7 months old with black hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 20 inches long and weighs about 25 pounds. Mario was last seen wearing gray t-shirt, black shorts.
The SUSPECT was last seen traveling on foot possibly heading for Shorefront Pkwy Rockaway, NY.

It is also believed that Lopez is driving a tan-colored 1995 Lexus ES300 with a New York license plate reading GEX1377. The 25-year-old was last seen wearing floral print shorts and a pink tee-shirt.
