"The Walking Dead" star Lauren Cohan to guest star on season 5 of "Archer." FX/AMC

While we’ve still got a couple weeks until a new episode of “Archer” that hasn’t stopped the good news from rolling in. It has been revealed that “The Walking Dead” star Lauren Cohan will be joining the cast! The show is known for pulling in some big names for guest stars such as “Breaking Bad” star Bryan Cranston, who appeared in the outer space episode of “Archer. And the year after that “Mad Men” star Jon Hamm lent his voice to the animated series causing mayhem on the ocean floor.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Cohan will be joined by “SNL” alum and “Portlandia” creator Fred Armisen. Cohan will first be heard in the Mar. 31 “Archer: Vice” episode as Juliana Calderon, a European socialite married to a Central American dictator (Armisen), who herself has designs on Sterling Archer. Armisen’s dictator meanwhile becomes infatuated with Cheryl Cherlene (Judy Greer), in the midst of her rise to country-music stardom.

Meanwhile season five of “Archer” has already seen some great guest actors from Gary Cole as a recurring FBI agent integral to ISIS’ downfall, while Christian Slater had been in talks for a role, as well, and “Sons of Anarchy” star Ron Perlman once again lends his voice as Ramon Limon.

Some other spoilers to look forward to come from executive producer Matt Thompson who dished on season five at the TCA 2014 press tour. Thompson revealed Malory is loosing it saying, "Malory is kind of untethered. She's so used to be in charge of this agency ... and now she kind of doesn't really know what's going on.” And added about Lana’s pregnancy, “We do have an awesome, awesome baby shower for [Lana]. Kenny Loggins is involved ... He plays a really terrible, terrible, b****** version of himself.”
