"Attack on Titan" season two may still be a ways off but we may have learned some interesting plot details about the second installment. If these recent rumors are to be believed then the second season will feature a more in-depth look at Kenny Ackerman, the royal Reiss family and the beast titan, Movie News Guide reports.

The first season of "AOT" left viewers with a major cliffhanger as Annie Leonhard was revealed as the female titan. With that revelation came speculation that the titans and human beings are more intertwined than originally thought. Given that information Christian Today reports that the second season will feature the powerful and wealthy Reiss family who is said to be able to manipulate peoples memory as well as transform into titans themselves.

Furthermore, iDigitalTimes reports that we will most likely see an in-depth storyline about Kenny Ackerman, Captain Levi's uncle. Ackerman is a member of the Military Police Brigade's First Interior Squad and the protector of King Uri Reiss. And lastly, fans of the series may be introduced to the beast titan. This titan has a distinct ape-like feature and is noted for its intelligence and ability to control lesser titans.

Meanwhile, the first live-action "Attack on Titan" movie has done significantly well in Japanese theaters earning around 600 million yen ($4.8 million) and selling over 400,000 tickets in its opening weekend, Forbes reports. Funimation is planning to release the movie in U.S. theaters later this year. Check out the trailer below:
