Belinda is no stranger to being involved in controversy and rumors. The actress and singer latest headline-grabbing drama is over soccer player Giovani Dos Santos and "From Dusk Till Dawn" actress Eiza Gonzalez. A Mexican tabloid magazine published weeks ago that "Lady Sapito" was trying to work things out with her former flame Dos Santos. Things were getting hot and reklinding the romance was in the works and going steady. Then Dos Santos and Gonzalez allegedly met at a party in Los Angeles and hooked up. Belinda found out about it and now wants nothing to do with the Los Angeles Galaxy star.
Now the "Baywatch" star has broken her silence and adressed those rumors. During a press conference she was asked by a reporter what Giovani had to do to reignite the romance. In solidarity with the singer, all the other reporters booed, but Belinda answered anyway to shut the whole thing down. "It's a closed chapter," she said. Belinda recently became a meme when a clip of a recent performance went viral on social media. The video shows the "Complices Al Rescate" telenovela star annoyed that fans wanted her to perform a song from her childhood days called "El Baile Del Sapito." The short clip became a trending topic on social media and the star replied to critics with a little bit of humor. "It makes me laugh that you don't know how to differentiate and realize everything is part of the show," she tweeted. In the message she included a meme that read, "Keep calm and Sapito." Belinda later tweeted another message lashing out at the haters: "Continue making things up and criticizing, I will keep growing. Blessings to all."
