We all love a party with the top hits of the moment, and that’s what Billboard is bringing us with the 2015 Billboard Latin Music Awards, presented by State Farm. The event will take place in Miami on April 30, 2015 and they will air live on Telemundo. If you’re not excited yet, wait until you hear the nominees, who were announced Feb. 9 during the live broadcast of “Un Nuevo Día.” Romeo Santos leads the nominations with a grand total of 21, a record in the history of the awards. Enrique Iglesias follows him with 19 and J Balvin surprised everyone on his break-out year and scored a total of 12 nominations.

Marc Anthony and Drake (remember he sang in Spanish with Romeo Santos in “Odio”?) got seven nods each, while Descember Bueno and Gente de Zona are up for six awards each thanks to the major hit “Bailando,” where they collaborated with Enrique Iglesias. Also with six nominations are Farruko, Julión Álvarez y Su Norteño Banda and Banda Sinaloense MS de Sergio Lizárraga. Marco Antonio Solís, Santana and Prince Roye are competing for five awards each, while the late Jenni Rivera, Calibre 50, Plan B and Wisin are up for four. Scroll down to see the full list of nominees.

Maria G. Valdez

Maria was born and raised in Dominican Republic, where she began her career in journalism covering human interest stories, entertainment, beauty and wellness for a national magazine. She moved to New York City to study Musical Theatre, but went back to journalism after graduating in an attempt of becoming the Latina Carrie Bradshaw. She has an unhealthy obsession with JLo and claims to be Sofia Vergara’s long-lost daughter, and has tried a crazy amount of treatments to keep looking young. She became a Zumba instructor for fun.
