Dick Clark productions and ABC honored the year’s most successful artists in 43 categories at the “2016 Billboard Music Awards,” which took place in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 22. This year showcased big performances, unexpected collaborations and pop culture moments. The show was hosted by hip-hop artist and actor Ludacris and international music sensation Ciara.
As expected from the number of nominations, singers such as Adele, Justin Bieber, Rihanna and The Weeknd took home some of the biggest prizes of the night.
Although they weren't part of the show, we were excited to see Romeo Santos win for Best Latin Artist as well as Nicky Jam and Enrique Iglesias for Best Latin Song with “El Perdon.”
