A few weeks ago pictures of Marc Anthony with his ex, Shannon de Lima, spending a weekend on a yacht in Miami surfaced. The photos generated controversy and rumors that there could be a reconciliation between the former couple.

Apparently, the reunion did not ignite the flames of love. The singer was seen with another model days later, while the Venezuelan beauty increased her interaction and presence in social media writing messages of love, but for another man.

According to Tv y Novelas, Mexican boxer Saul "Canelo" Álvarez, De Lima and photographer Miguel Leone, a friend of Shannon's, would have met on a vacation trip to the Bahamas. Supposedly, Leone is the one who seems to have played Cupid between the two.

It all started when Leone published in his Instagram account a picture with Canelo, and Shannon wrote "Que muñecos," using the heart eyes emoji and the drooling emoji.

Then Marc Anthony's ex-wife posted a picture of her hugging a huge teddy bear, which looked like someone sent her.

While in an image shared by El Canelo riding a horse, De Lima commented: "I want," next to the heart eyes emoji, and the boxer answered: "For you, anything."

Shannon also shared an image that Canelo liked, and used several emojis to express her love. Apparently the Venezuelan is a believer of mythological legends, she also made reference to the myth of the red thread. According to this myth, everyone's pinky finger is tied to an invisible red string that will lead him or her to another person with whom they will make history.

Finally the speculations came to an end when Canelo's best friend published the photo of the couple, which was also shared by the show "El Gordo y la Flaca" and they confirm that they are together and very happy.
