Miguel Ignacio Mendoza Donatti, best known as "Nacho" from Venezuelan pop duo Chino & Nacho, opened up to "El Gordo y La Flaca" reporter Tanya Charry abour the reason behind him leaving the group. According to Nacho, after more than 160 confirmed dates for concerts per year he had to regulate the trips. “No, I can’t leave for 15 days. I feel like I’m abandoning my kids, abandoning my family, abandoning my wife,” said the Venezuelan singer.

He also said how Chino, trying to understand Nacho’s situation of raising a family and taking care of five children, agrees in the decision of decreasing the hours of work.

Nacho started suffering from anxiety when his kids started asking him to stay with them. Even though Chino agreed to cut off the concert dates, Nacho felt guilty and decided to make an end point. "Now the team has to trust in the work Chino is going to make as a solo artist."

The Venezuelan singer said he never wanted to be the rock on the road for nobody and he wishes Chino the best. He clarifies the separation has nothing to do with money, and although he had the responsibility of writing, editing and arranging the songs, he is a "hippie," making reference to the fact he needed to have a partner on his side telling him and helping him on what to do and the ideas.

Nacho ended up saying he thinks he need to give a big hug to Chino and thank him for all the support and let him know how much he really appreciate him, and how proud he is.
