Two fans lost their lives while attending a Chino y Nacho performance in Venezuela. As the show was going on fans began to climb a sound tower, which stood over the audience. As the weight of the fans on the tower began to weaken the structure it collapsed killing two people. Fans gathered at the Golden Grain resort where Chino y Nacho were holding a concert to celebrate Chinita. Exercising their excitement dozens of fans began to climb a sound tower while the concert was going on.

Two people are confirmed as dead as a result of the tower collapse. One person died instantly while the other would later succumb to the injuries they sustained when the tower fell. Over 50 people have been injured and it is not yet known if the death toll is expected to rise. Five people are listed in serious condition. Members of the musical duo offered their sympathies and prayers to the victims and families suffering due to the accident at their concert.

Taking to Twitter Jesús Miranda (Chino) wrote to say how sorry and concerned he was for those injured at the show. "Rogando a la Chinita por las personas lesionadas en nuestro concierto. Estoy muy preocupido..." Nacho also responded saying he was filled with sorrow over what happened during the show. "Me invade la tristeza por el incidente de anoche en nuestro concierto. Elevo mis oraciones por las victimas fatales para su descanso eterno." Over 30 ambulances arrived to take the wounded to the hospital.
