Christian Chavez has had a rough road the last couple of weeks but the former RBD group member claims he is doing well despite trying to take his own life, a public letter from his ex-boyfriend Ben Kruger calling him out as a liar and losing a job at a Telemundo entertainment show after these scandals. The singer is very active on Twitter and replied to the allegations raised by Kruger stating, "It's easy to tell fictional stories. But it's difficult to survive them." Now the Chavez has uploaded a new video to YouTube where he covers the Bruno Mars song "When I Was Your Man." The description of the video reads, "A part of the song that you guys love so much. I am fine and better every day. Kisses." Although the song is dedicated to his fans as a group, the lyrics imply that it could possibly be dedicated to his former byofriend. In the snippet Christian sings, "Same bed but it feels just a little bit bigger now / Our song on the radio but it don't sound the same / When our friends talk about you, all it does is just tear me down / 'Cause my heart breaks a little when I hear your name / It all just sounds like oooooh…" One thing did catch our attention and it is that Christian has no visible scars from the alleged suicide attempt he claimed was real.

Fans of the singer and actor have been extremely supportive and have expressed their unconditional love. "I love you no matter what happends, whatever you do, whatever they say," Radmila0206 said in the comment section of his video upload. MoreSun said, "What a great voice! You have to stand out with that, you are a tremendous artist." Another fan by the name of VirezFastrip said, "You sing so beautiful. Much better than Bruno Mars... what a lovely voice. You have an angel's voice. I love you forever." Ingrid Guida said, "So good that you are well, it's good to know that are you getting better and are continuing to sing." His former RBD bandmmates also expressed their support right after those graphic pictures came out. "I adore and respect him a lot. I prefer to remain silent due to the friendship we hold," Dulce Maria told the daytime talkshow "Hoy." Christopher Uckermann on his side said, "Christian has always said what is on his mind, but he has always been grounded. It surprised me but they are life's downfalls. We sometimes don't think about what we upload to Twitter but he is a great person."

Chavez also posted on his Twitter page very cryptic messages like "I will not turn my face this time and pretend it doesn't hurt me, but it is so easy to see the stone in your neighbor's eye." The phrase is a metaphor for not seeing one's own defects and pointing the finger at someone else, possibly talking about the tumultuous relationship between him and Kruger. In another tweet he said, "While the justice in the USA has given its veridict, people here continut to prosecute the alleged guilty one. Shame on you." It has not all been negative as the actor also posted a message in support of Spirit Day, a day to take a stand against bullying in support of LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) youth. The celebration is held on the third Thursday of October where millions of people show their support wearing purple. The idea was created by a teenager named Brittany McMillan who wanted a day to remember the young people that lost their lives to suicide due to bullying. The color purple is what symbolizes spirit on the rainbow flag and individuals, schools, organizations, corporations, media professionals and celebrities are encouraged to wear the hue to show their support.
