Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been at the center of rumors since their relationship started, with even more springing up after the announcement that Meghan was pregnant. The rumors have gone to extensive lengths after Baby Archie’s birth, even once claiming that Prince Harry was actually not his father. Here are other rumors that have circulated about the royal couple and Baby Archie.

Meghan And Harry Leaving The Royal Family (October 2018)

Right on the heels of Meghan and Harry’s announcement of their pregnancy, British weekly magazine OK! claimed that the parents-to-be are leaving the royal family for their child. The news was previously debunked — and obviously untrue — as Meghan is still living in England and is on her way to becoming a citizen.

Meghan Giving Birth In America (January 2019)

Months after, OK! once again alleged that the couple was leaving — this time, for the United States. According to the publication, Meghan and Harry wanted their baby to be born “in sunny, drama-free California,” alongside Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland. This was undeniably false as Archie was born in Portland Hospital in Westminster.

Archie To Be Raised As Gender Fluid (February 2019)

Back in February, Vanity Fair mistakenly claimed that the royal couple “plan to raise their child with a fluid approach to gender.” Palace representatives, on a rare occasion of commenting on incorrect news, actually stated that the claims were “completely false.”

Archie To Be A Vegan Baby (April 2019)

According to reports, the parents of baby Archie have expressed their wish to turn their baby boy toward having a vegan diet. However, raising the boy to be vegan seems not to be a reality, though eating healthily is definitely within their plans.

Couple Moving To America (June 2019)

A month after the young master was born, American tabloid National Enquirer claimed that Meghan, Harry and Baby Archie were moving to the United States, mimicking OK!’s claims months before.

Couple Moving To Africa (July 2019)

In July, Life & Style reported that the royal couple will be moving to Africa with Baby Archie after Meghan gave her husband an “ultimatum” and made him choose between her and the royal family. The duchess allegedly can no longer cope with the difficulties of royal life, and so the “solution” she came up with was to move to Africa with Prince Harry and Baby Archie. This is wholly untrue and was debunked by Gossip Cop before it became any sort of an issue.
