A couple was clicked having morning sex on the Bondi cliff during lockdown, causing a stir on Facebook.
The two were spotted by photographer Scott Robinson, who is a member of the Bondi Local Loop group on the social media platform. He told News.com.au that he saw the pair while he was getting a bit of fresh air. Robinson said, “Just thought it was a little levity given the times and the new restrictions."
He shared that he took the photo from the water while doing a swim from Bondi to Tamarama. Commenting on when he took the shot of the couple, he said, “It was probably around 8.15 a.m so they were keen." He joked that one can spot lots of wildlife in the water in the area, but never up on the cliffs.
The post was later taken down by the group, but not before it was seen by a few social media users. One commented saying that people above had no clue what they were missing out on. Another wrote, "When she says ‘let’s go for a coastal walk’." Amused by the post, one Facebook user wrote, "It’s cardio and also improves your mental health."
According to Australia’s renewed lockdown restrictions, people of Sydney can do their exercise, shopping and outdoor recreation in their local government area or within five kilometers (3 miles) of their house, the Sydney Morning Herald reported.
In a separate incident, a man landed in jail for recording a couple having sex in Bishan-Ang Mo Kio washroom in Singapore twice. In October last year, Kuppusamy Karthik climbed onto toilet fixtures in order to spy on the couple who entered a shower cubicle in the washroom. Karthik knew that the couple frequented that particular washroom at a specific time, so he waited nearby to record them illicitly again.
On Monday, Karthik, who is a driver by profession, was jailed for 17 weeks after he pleaded guilty to three charges of voyeurism, by intentionally filming people engaging in private acts without taking their consent, reported Yahoo! News.
According to his lawyer, Kalaithasan Karuppaya, Karthik was in the park to relax but ended up committing the offences.
